15. Veduta dal parco di Monte Mario
Information and Reviews
- Beautiful view, but the cafe was closed when we got there at around 12 o’clock. We took the trail from Villa Mazzanti which was quite steep and be careful on the way down since the rubble can make you slip. The last 10 m on the trail was overgrown but otherwise really nice. But bring some water and take several stops on the way up.
- Great view BUT !! The pathway down is CLOSED !! 2nd disappointment trying to get down Monte Mario !! Even the Francisan Way is blocked not far away !! No mention of it till you reach it !! Everything at the viewpoint is closed !! Only way down is by the Madonnina (big golden statue you can see from Stadio Olimpico) and even then there are no real signs when you reach a choice of paths !! Nice view only, the rest is abandonment and back the way you came!!
- Fantastico punto panoramico su Roma 140 MT anche di notte incantevole
- Anche se il bar e l'osservatorio sono chiusi, questo posto rimane uno dei più belli per chi vuole il panorama di Roma.
